After reading too many stories and books about Elvis in the last years I?ve come to realise that a lot of them are in a kind of competition of who new him most and who was closer to him. Some people even claim to know him in depth because they had telephone conversations with him. There are women that assures you that they had Elvis?s child. But almost neither of them shows any clear evidence of his connection to Elvis or real proofe when they have the chance to do it. Then there are people who was really there (some friend, wife, family...) that sells a story that can be easily contrasted and proved to be a lie and that makes me so mad because we buy all that s..t and waste or money wanting to know a little more about Elvis.
So I?d like to know who in your opinion would be "The Winner of Telling Lies" in the Elvis world and why so people don?t get in the trap of buying crap from them.

Priscilla is the biggest liar in the Elvis world as far as I'm concerned. The reasons have been detailed elsewhere on these forums. Wouldn't cross the street to meet her.

I don't think priscilla is the biggest lair, she done things, but we have all done things too! You can't always believe what you read, and what you hear, If it wasn't for her graceland wouldn't be open and elvis lengend wouldn't be as big as it is today. We won't there when she was elvis, we don't know the real story, so l won't judge cause l wasn't there.

I think this is a difficult question to answer. i think most people around elvis might have lied about something or other even if its only a little white lie.

I never heard Charlie or JD lie about Elvis.

Personally I thought both of these books are fantastic. Especially "Elvis By The Presleys".....I could not put it down! I think the award for biggest Elvis liar would have to go to the Stanleys.

Youre talking about events nearly 50 years ago in the photos.You and I have no way of verifing evets from Germany.Memories are shaky at best.Are these events before the marriage the reason she's hated?Even if she has lied about a few things guess what.I have told lies in my life and so has every person reading this posts.Let's not be so hypocritical and hold people up to unfair standards.What lies did she instigate if any while married to Elvis?Are their any?
