The best advice I can give you is to get in touch with the archives at Graceland. They know their stuff.
Hey everybody, recently I've been trying to figure out correct dates for all of Elvis' recordings. Everywhere I check (books & internet sites) many many songs are listed as being recorded on not only different days and months, but on some even years! Is there any sources that offers correct song recording information? Thanks.
Elliot

Infact, some songs were recorded on more than one occassion, and sometimes years apart.
Perhaps you could give some examples of songs you have found that to be the case with ?
'What, honey ? ..... one scarf for the balcony ?! ........... OK ........... gimme a baseball ! ............ there's no way unless you put a rock in it'.

Joe Tunzi's book's seem to be the most researched and accurate.
If your an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary....
If your not, no explanation is possible!
Yes I agree, Tunzi´s book is good, you may also check Ernest Jorgensen Book: "Elvis Presley A Life in Music; His Complete Recording Sessions".
An also you may want to check out this web site:
