    Elvis Jumpsuits

Does anyone know if ALL of the jumpsuits at graceland actually were worn by Elvis, or are some of them just replicas?
    And if so, why?

    Jumpsuits

Yes, all of them, except for the one made for the tour that he was supposed to have, were worn by Elvis.

They are all the actual jumpsuits that he wore. The Aloha From Hawaii Jumpsuit is not the one he wore at the actual telecast that is the third suit. He had three of those made. Two was identcal and one was different from the others. The one that you see at Graceland is the one he wore during 1974. They want us to think that is the one he wore during the telecast. Elvis had several of the jumpsuits that was made from 1970 to 1973 that had two or three of the same suits. So there is a good chance that the jumpsuits that is from this period could not be the originals but they was still worn by Elvis. From 1974 to 1977 there were only one made for each suit. Many thinks that the Mexican Sundial Suit is the "Second" suit because if you find a photo from 1974 notice the cuffs. It originally had six cuffs. But photos from 1977 showed only four cuffs. This makes people thinks he had two jumpsuits of the Mexican Sundial. Well, to clear this up. During a show of the April 1977 tour, Elvis lost one of the cuffs and lost the other one during the June tour. So the suit when Elvis passed away had four cuffs on it. So the suit at Graceland is the original suit minus two cuffs because they got lost.
The Aloha cape at Graceland is the one which he threw in the audience. That is the second cape, the first cape was a full length cape and was never worn because it was too heavy. But that is the original suit.

The 1973 "Light Blue Pinwheel", one jumpsuit with the same pattern as the 1973 "Blue Rain" (aka "Nashville Suit") but with muti coloured stones, and the 1975 "Navy Blue Flame Two-piece". It could be possible they were used during some of the Las Vegas seasons.

There is also a combination on display of which they claim Elvis wore it during the stage rehearsal of TTWII. A pair of brown striped pants, a red shirt and a red leather belt. The pants and the belt are correct but the shirt isn't. The red shirt he wore during the rehearsals didn't had a high Napoleonic collar. The shirt on display does so they used another shirt, probably from 1971 or 1972.
Hi Leroy, is the "Multicolored Rain" definitely from '73, because didn't all the suits from this period have capes? Or does this one have a cape too?

    Many thanks.

If im not mistaken I have a photo somewhere of Elvis wearing the blue 2 pc suit with the flames on the shoulders.I want to say im 99% sure I have one someplace.I believe that suit led to speculation he wore the Flame suit back in 74 possibly because of the material on the shoulders?I have a friend who has a massive collection.I will see if he can help if I dont find mine. It's possible Im just wrong but Im fairly certain I have seen one.
