I didn't notice any difference at all page by page it all seems the same to me. This is a scam by publishers
Earlier I just had a minute to pop into a bookstore and on the shelf I saw a paperback version of the Revelations of the Memphis Mafia book, but it was titled differently: Elvis and the Memphis Mafia, and it had the word 'uncut' on the front as well.
Ah yes, here we go:
Briefly scanning the front and back I did not see any notes about its being uncut, but by virtue of the new title and 'uncut', it sounds like this may be an unabridged version of the Revelations book. Nothing from the notes I have seen on Amazon speak to this though.
Can someone set me straight on this? And if it is different, how much more content is there?
...you won't forget me when I go.

It's the same book, except Revelations of the MM has many pictures and Elvis and The MM only has two...
franny
but it's a nice opportunity for Elvisfans that couldn't buy "The Revelations of..." book.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Thanks for clarifying that, 03. It is pretty obvious now that Uncut is the source of the quote. I suppose because the new title already had planted the idea in me that this was maybe a different book, that threw me off even further.![]()

Since I started it, Thats not why I mentioned Scam. I think its a scam when Publishers release the same book, with a new cover or a new title to try and get people to buy the same book again.
I have seen them do this more then a few times because its not exclusive to the Elvis world. I've got 3 differently titled books on former heavyweight champion Jack Johnson that are completly different titles, and covers, but the text is exactly the same in each one. Thats just one example I've come across. So just to clairify that is why I used the word "Scam" .
