    Hi Sam

Nice cd's - i have them both too

What about these from 1984 -

    Or this from 1985 -

I bought all these from the Elvis Museum in Blackpool. Man that was an oustanding weekend. CD's were very scarce at the time and they had about thirty to choose from. I still have them to this day.

Anyone know if the museum is still open ? I have heard different stories, some say its long gone. and others that it is still there.

Or what about this beauty from 1990 -

Does Anyone else collect promo cd's ? - I started about five years ago. Interesting but expensive

I don't collect promo's. To be honoust, I don't understand the fun of it: they were made to be collectables and they contain always less tracks than the album the promo should promote

I have only have one rare CD. I like this one because it's the thought behind it: Collector Records made these ones for all their loyal customers. It's the thought that counts :

Thats the reason i collect them Albert - because they are collectable. Sure if i had a choice between lets say a soundboard and a promo - there would be no contest - it would be the sounboard every time.

Elvis promo collecting is getting very big over here in the uk. There are alot of collectors starting to get them. Some would pay alot more than i would for a cd. With values of some going above ?500 - that is far too much for me :?

I have the Live In Las Vegas sampler CD. Anybody know about how much it is worth? Just curious. I'm not selling it, and it has been played a couple times.

Yes, that's the one. About how much is that price in USD?

I didn't pay much at all for mine.

    Lonnie,

I think it's about 30,- Dollars in US money, for the Las Vegas promo.

    Thanks, Stereo.

I was thinking I had seen some of the other box set sampler CD's selling for considerably more than that, and I actually paid considerably less.
