It's always good to see an Elvis movie being broadcast.I just wish they would pick a few different ones every now and then.I think its usually the same 5 films they show.Be nice to see Wild In The Country or Tickle Me to name just a couple to change things up a bit.

I finally have TCM too.and from what I saw in the magazine there's an Elvis movie every week. I saw: Spinout and Yesterday we had : Viva Las Vegas and on 1st of nov. they show : it happened at the worlds fair. As far as i can tell it's the only channel that even bothers to show elvis movies. and Jak I agree 100 % with you. Why not show movies like: Charro, Tickle me, Double trouble, Flaming star etc.

Thank you all, good to know TCM had more of his movies. I'll have to keep checking.

It sounds like TCM is showing more Elvis films than I thought lately.I think it's one of the few channels left that does show Elvis films.I remember years ago it seemed like you could catch an Elvis movie late night or on the weekend quite often on different channels.I guess now "old" movies are the ones made in the 80's and many of the great older films have no place left but on TCM.I suppose that's just a natural progression with the passage of time but I still dont have to like it![]()
