so I keep singing a song. Elvis Presley
I don't think I will read it, either!
I thought Linda had a book coming out, but I'm not sure when that will be...

Linda was a good person to elvis, but l don't think she has much to write about, considering elvis was going down hill in the later years when she was with him.

Will give this one a miss, after all she is the one, like it was said before made money from photographs of the Bathroom![]()
LOLOL
What would be next. Maybe someone that knew a friend that knew a friend that knew a friend that smelled Elvis?s boots will write a book.

I think I will wait for Linda's book too...........I am wondering if she will do it ready for the 30th Anniversary![]()
Jeanne LeMay Dumas was also Elvis' secretary as well as Linda's friend.
I don't know what she would have to say that is different from all the other books except for more inside information about what Linda's life was with Elvis but not more maybe than what Linda's own book will tell. I think I would like to read Linda's book first.
I would certainly read Linda's book, she has always behaved impeccably over the years, Linda's time with Elvis was probably through the most difficult times of Elvis' life, I have great admiration for Linda as she has not cashed in when she could have.
I'm not sure that any book that she would release would uncover any skeletons, but I would like to read some of the good times that they shared together, it seems there are a lot of people who think that the mid to latter 70's were a dark time for Elvis it would be good if Linda could show that this was not necessarily the case.

The thing that gets me, if elvis was so happy with Linda, why didn't get marry her instead of asking his last girlfriend. Elvis was trying to get rid of her, but l don't think she took the hint. Why was he calling priscilla nd seeing her all the time either if he was so happy with LInda. He was hurting that time, l think everyone knows that plain and simple.

The first person LMP called was Linda when Elvis died? i think Elvis was happy with Linda otherwise she would have taken the hint![]()
As for Ginger, there is dispute that Elvis ever proposed?
If Elvis did want to leave Linda I think she would have been very bitter, if this is the case I say more power to her for still remaining dignified all these years.
I think Elvis would still have called Priscilla as she was the mother of his daughter.
Truth is we will never really know the full facts............

I've said this before..but...I honestly don't think Elvis was meant to be married...not to Linda or Ginger or Shiela or Alicia or Priscilla...not any woman.
Elvis had no intentions of marrying Ginger Alden (in spite of her claiming that Elvis gave her an engagement ring)...as one of the Memphis Mafia has said (and I'm paraphrasing prolly): "When Elvis gave a woman a ring, it didn't mean a ****************ed thing!"
(BTW, I like the 'curse words' editing thingy...kewl!)
I agree with you. I think Linda is a sweet lady and haven?t cashed Elvis in 30 years. They seemed to have fun together and is liked by the guys around Elvis too. And best of all when she tells the bad moments she shared with him never plays the victim, she sounds as if she really cared for him.

l guess you haven't show with david foster and her kids, they put down elvis, and she doesn't defend him, so what does that tell ya, and didn't elvis's dad get so upset when she blow lots of elvis' money when she went shopping. I'am sorry after seeing her show on t.v, l don't think that high of Linda anymore, bu that is my opioion, and everybody is intitled to there own.

Ive always had a fairly high opinon of her.We dont know the facts but it sure seems like she genuinely cared for Elvis.I think she was a positive in his life and Elvis would have been better off if he could have held on to her.Being Elvis' girlfriend was no easy task however.I think she did her best and put up with all she could take.Ginger was just a trophy. She was in over her head with Elvis.I just dont think she was equipped to give Elvis what he needed at that time in his life.
