    Question Elvis decided to send one of his socks to Billy in Sweden.

    I heard a story dont remember where but when Elvis was recording I can help and heard that it was writen and done by Billy Swan.

    Maybe I'm getting things mixed up but I could swear that there's also a story about him sending, in response to a request from the songwriter, Don MacLean the pair of socks he was wearing when he recorded "And I LOve You So." They were purple, if I remember right. Seems kind of weird, though, that he could send a pair to each songwriter from the same session...maybe he wore a lot of socks during those sessions or he sent half a pair to each.
