I picked the jumpsuit era but that's only cause his image was astablished by then.
but I would have chosen the 68 comeback without the movies.
68 comeback was the ultimate Elvis stamp to the world that no one can even come close to.
There can't be a sexier Man who ever lived to beat those black leathers in 68.

I'm the King of the Jungle, They call me Tigerman

The 50's
He was just so raw, so rebelous in his own way and he broke all the records
and turned the world upside down with his new style of music
The Legends
I think he peaked then to be honest. TTWII was 70s Elvis at his most dynamic. There were some inspired inclusions to the set list in 1972 - most notably American Trilogy - but he never performed with more energy in the 70s than in 1970.
As for new fans, image wise I'd go with the 50s and 68 special look.
1950's Gyrating, Hip Swivelling Rebel
The 1970's TTWII and Aloha From Hawaii.
