It's more likely the Presleys took whatever furniture they had with them to Memphis..or sold it. That's what poor people usually do.
I visited Elvis' birthhouse in August and I was wondering if this is the original furniture that was in the house when Elvis lived there. Some people have said that they think it is only a replica, while others say it is original. Anyone know for sure?

The hostess there told us they weren?t the original furniture. I guess they took with them the little they had then.
