Hi
Good news.It would be very cool if these tapes would be released.
According to Elvisinfonet over 60,000 pictures of Elvis have been found in the archives of the Colonel, as well as menus from every Las Vegas show (in excellent condition), as well as every movie script of every Elvis movie, all original studio acetates, audio tapes and signed contracts.

Please forgive me if this has been posted on TCB-World before, but I don't come here that often.
But if this is true, then I hope those tapes will be released - as well as at least some of the pictures

"Don't Forget me Baby, all you got to do is call"
At the Elvis Insider's conference they had a presentation on this with some video footage. The Colonel had several copies made of every single thing Elvis ever did that was recorded or promoted, including all the promo for it. . It is a huge collection. It is all in pristine condtion. As a matter of fact, the new dvd set coming out " The complete Ed Sullivan Shows" was made possible, partly, by this find. Apparantly part of Elvis's performance was never complete because the Sullivan's show had chopped it up for a promo spot and left it that way. Now, with the Colonel's collection, we have the complete show. I wish I would have taken notes. But you can bet we will see some exciting stuff in the years to come, and if not anything else, some new and improved versions of current releases. His office was literally a shrine to Elvis. It was interesting to see some of the photos he had framed. I could have picked some better. But, it is amazing.
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....
Its amazing how many photos of Elvis exsist. Every single time I come to this site, before I enter the forum here I end up seeing photos that I've never seen before in any of my books or magazines and I have a fair number of books. To think we've not even seen the tip of the iceberg if that report is factual is incredible. Elvis had to be the single most photographed person ever.
It was a lot of years ago when they obtained the stuff, my question is ,what took them so long?
Great news!!
I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
how exciting!
I wonder how long it will take the people of EPE too sort out the whole collection of the colonel. The man has been gone for years and they still find new stuff in his collection. Was his collection that huge or are those people just so slow??![]()
ELVIS IS KING AND YOU REMEMBER THAT !
The Colonels collection spans Elvis's entire career. There's a lot in there, a lot to catalogue and archive properly.

Goood! I hope we're able to see at least some of them soon!!!![]()
I think Elvis is the most photographed man in the world , ever!!!!
and I love you so..people ask me how..how I've lived 'till now
i would doubt anything that e.p.e say, before they bought the collection it was catalouged, one thing about COLONEL he was meticulous in preserving , and catalouging everthing elvis. I also know that there is some film from 69, tod morgan tolds me of it yeras ago , where E.P. is closing a show and he saw bits of this, and this conversation took place 10 years ago.Again i wouldn't believe anything that e.p.e says, just my opinon though. but its great to know that we have 60 ,00 pics , i'll bet they will put them on cups, plates, diapers etc....
They talked about copies of all the sound and video recordings (movies) . Not sure if that meant outtakes and all or just the finished product. The didn't say anything about unreleased material as far as video and audio. Well, except that Ed Sullivan bit.
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....
I would like to be proven wrong but I think the overwhelming majority of the items the colonel kept would just be classified as collectables.Menus, promotinal items etc.Its highly doubtfull any major finds in audio or video will surface.

I'm so happy all that material is not any longer in "the Colonel" hands...![]()
Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

i still have the magazine/book they published about E.P. and the colonel, and it's pretty flimsy on details , i just sows elvis gifts to the colonel along with some photos that are inserted in the book [some nice ones] the cover shot is sure nice, but i believe the estate are vague as usual, to reply to the imbisul who clasimed the estate don't produce tacky stuff, well friend you have not bin to the shops or online to see the dross they come up with i mean, choclates, bicycles, slippers, plates, cups, pens, sacks, i mean i love the man and his music, his greatest legacy was the music he left us and the thousands of photos of him that can be put into photo books[they can publish the greatest books, yet they waste his image on decanyers and other shit like that] but then again if your one of those fans who wears the watch, has the lighter, pen ,skirt, mug, etc.. then i understand you need professional help.![]()

No, i'll leave that to you. At the same time perhaps you can get to grips with punctuation, spelling and grammar? EPE do prevent tacky products, such as toilet paper.
Perhaps you would like EPE not to follow in the Colonel's footsteps at all and just let bootlegers do what they like.
You really are an ignorant person. Learn how to spell before you try and abuse anyone. Still waiting on those court doc's! lol
