You're welcome. I hope to someday know quite a bit more on this topic . I think Vernon is one of the least known personalities in the Elvis universe. Which I find interesting because though they were known to clash from time to time, I think Vernon was a big part of what made Elvis tick. Vernon seemed to be a incredibly complicated man.

I didnt know Vernons middle name was Elvis!!!! it wasnt as unique as I thought.

Vernon didn't really like most of those guys and it was probably mutual though they'd never dare say it in his life. I know of at least two that were there, one isn't well liked on this website but is by me, and one was Billy. It looked like a sizable turnout. I kinda wish I could have some of that on Video off the PC as odd as that sounds. Just for historical purposes.


By the way Diane, I am glad you posed the question that caused me to start this thread , and start researching some, because I've gotten a lot of information out of the search now. It was something I was always curious about.
