    Child Bride

A little over a year ago my friend's aunt gave her a book called "Child Bride". She looked at the pictures but she never actually read or touched the book since. Sooo she gave it to me Weds.... So, is the book as good as people say it is?

I liked it, it's very different to Elvis and Me, sometimes I fealt a bit sorry for Priscilla- if what is in the book is true, it seems her mother had a bit of a hidden agenda.

    Its a cracking read.
Cilla has certainly got some skeletons in the closet.

That book is certainly an eye opener and I think there's some basic truths there but let's remember that all the books bar none will play some things down and exaggerate others.

It is tempting to feel a little sorry for PP as her mother made her what she is but she did choose to go the same way even though she has to know inside that it is wrong. I think she's living in denial of a lot of guilt and that's why she's constantly trying to defend herself and make people believe she was and is an innocent. It would be best if she would just leave it alone. You know the old saying "methinks thou protests too much".

Its funny how many people haven`t read it and still think how great she is. Maybe they don`t want to read it in case it shatters their great illusions. They`d rather read Elvis What Happened so they can think negatively of Elvis.
