Pictures of Elvis' double in 'Kissin Cousins'?

I was watching 'Kissin' Cousins' recently and couldn't help laughing when you see the guy made up to look like Elvis (with the black hair when they are fighting)!
I was wondering if any of you knew who that is, and if you have any front faced pictures of him in make up?
I know it's a weird request, but worth a try right!

in the dvd "the ultimate collection" there's an interview to this guy, who actually played as stuntman in some others Elvis' movies. I can't remember his name, but I'm sure there are people here who know who he is!

His name is Lance Legault.You can see him ina lot of his movies as a stuntman and he is also the guy playing the tamborine next to Elvis in the '68 Comeback special.Hes not a very friendly person from what ive heard.

Isn`t he the guy who narrated the Graceland dvd and also was on the audio as you walk around Graceland. He handed the instruments to Elvis in the comeback special as well and he was also seen in the movie Girls Girls Girls on the stage as Elvis sang Return To Sender.
I thought Red West also doubled as Elvis in Kissin Cousins didn`t he or am I wrong?
It was certainly painful to watch Kissin Cousins as it was very very obvious that he wasn`t Elvis and they didn`t even try to make it look plausible.
It was a case of a rushed film just to make money and was very unfair on Elvis.
I wasn`t aware that Lance was an unfriendly man, what makes you say that?

It was indeed Lance LeGault who doubled Elvis in a vissible way in "Kissin' Cousins". He double Elvis in a lot of movies and also was a good friend with
musical skills way back in the sixties.

He played in almost all television series you can imagine; Magnum P.I., Dukes of Hazard, Dynasty, Dallas, Columbo, Knight Rider, Buck Rogers but he will be most remembered as Colonel Decker from the A-Team.

His first role was in "Girls! Girls! Girls!" as bass player in the nightcub. He also played stunts in "Roustabout" and "Viva Las Vegas".

He said this about "Kissin' Cousins": "We shot Kissin' Cousins (1964) in seventeen days, and I think that was the turning point. Up until then, certain standards had been maintained. Once they realized they could do a film so quickly, we were on fast pictures. The first time I noticed it was in Roustabout (1964). Elvis rode a Honda in it. Which is pretty silly, when you think about it, because Elvis rides Harleys. Yet, in the film, they put him on a 350 Honda. And this is a guy who's playing a drifter whose only mode of transportation is his bike. This is a guy who supposedly goes across country on a machine that's about right for the driveway, a 350 Honda".

Thanks for that quote. It's great and says alot. It was pretty rediculous. Any chance there is more to this interview?

17 DAYS!!! that is terrible, such a waste of talent in my opinion.
I recognise the guy now from some of the movies and now I can really see why they chose him to play Elvis' double - NOT !
But does anyone have any pics of him as Elvis? just for entertainment value!

On this group-photograph it isn't the real double you see. One of the two Elvisses (don't know how else to explain) you see was photographed at another time and later pasted into the picture, problably they only used his head to paste on his doubles body. I think it's the left Elvis, as the only one he looks to another direction. Quite nicely done for 1964, I can't find any cutting lines or other signs besides his eyes looking in another direction that indicate that he wasn't originaly not in the picture.

What comes up with the idea of shooting a movie in 17 days
I think if they just paided more attention (and a bit more money) to the movies they would be a lot better quality.
The only ones I once saw were Blue Hawaii and Jailhouse Rock. They were fine but with most of the rest of his movies I'm not interested in to go and watch. Maybe it's different becouse I'm male that I don't like them. The targetgroup in the time were the girl-fans so I guess the Colonel succeeded in that.

Poor Elvis. This is one rotten movie. By 1964, Colonel Parker had figured out that, if he and Elvis were getting a percent of the movie, the lower the budget, the better. I wonder how Elvis was able to get up in the morning and put on that blond wig. And we ask ourselves why this man was a substance abuser.

Elvis plays twins. One of his characters is in the army and sent on a mission to secure a lease for a missile base on a mountain top owned by his relatives - one of whom is the blond cousin. It may sound strange, but neither character seems to have much to do, and the result is a strange lack of an Elvis presence. Hard to explain. You'd have to see the movie, which I don't recommend you do.

One of the last scenes is an outdoor party, and it is only there that the film picks up and the lamentable soundtrack improves. There is some terrific dancing and good energy. Pity we have to wait till the end, by which time, most people are no longer watching.

Sarcasm aside, this film tears at the heart - Elvis so wanted to be in good films and have an opportunity as a serious actor. But the Colonel was all about money. I blame both of them - Elvis for not standing up to the Colonel and the Colonel for being the greedy guts that he was. He didn't do Elvis any favors.
