    UFO's

    Hi gang,

This one is way off topic, but you seem like a good sensible community so I'll ask:

Have any of you had experiences with UFO's? If not, do you believe they exist?

    Thanks!

    life (that's a song)

That's an interesting question. I'm familiar with 'stars are too distant', but the idea of life beyond our solar system doesn't seem to be all that strange - I think that our world is the strange one, really.

This galaxy (let alone the entire universe) is pretty complex and large, so there's a long road ahead of us discovering it. It may not exactly be like Hollywood portrays it.

To be honest, I don't have any experience with UFO's or aliens. Do you, Jimsaidhello?
all the goons I left behind,
    memories still linger..

    No...no experiences...I'm lucky!

Anyway...I believe they exsists...I'm sure there's someone else in the universe and I'm sure a lot of people have tried in the years to hide many things about UFOs..I hope to know the truth one day and, if they exist I'd prefer to meet ET than the aliens of "Indipendence Day"!

    Hi,

I'm not sure what I took a picture of in Austria in 2004. Check it out, just above the roof of the building, on the right side.
    A small silver ball.

I also filmed there and took more pictures. But this ball thing is just on this picture.

And, during the weeks I was there the Austrian radio (believe it or not, but it is true) announced UFO sightings!

I'm no believer in this stuff, trust me... And I don't know what to think either, but this thing is in a picture I took...lol And it shouldn't be.

    Interesting picture Rene!

We can't be sure about what is it...but nothing common to see in the sky!

Strange you don't believe in them...if I had took a pic like this I'd have started to be curious to know more.

I've watched many documentaries about this kind of stuff...Area 51, Roswell, crop circles and so on...I love it...it's something humans can't explain or something we can but we are not allowed to know yet....who knows?

Anyway...I have the conviction we are not ALONE!

    Well Ale,

I was curious after seeing this. Not while taking that picture, but afterwards on my laptop.

And sure enough after that radio announcement on the news. So, there were more people who perhaps saw something.

Anyway, after I got home I checked some of those UFO sites. And then you are overwhelmed with all kinda crap. But, I also saw some pics with the little round ball in it, that has mine.

So, who knows.. I can't say any intelligent about this thing in my picture I'm afraid, but I know for sure it wasn't there when I took the pic, and I took several. Even shot some film, nothing there either.

And I know this place very well, so does my brother... And this thing in the pic does not belong there...hahaha

And it's no balloon or anything, otherwise it should be on all of the pics and the film.

Oh, and this is no trick picture either, trust me please...

    Wow!

Fascinating responses, all! Thanks for weighing in, and I hope more people will post...

I'm just curious because like UFO's, Elvis seems to exist at that place where the mystical world intersects with the real one. So I'm putting aside my regular Elvis reading this summer for a "quickie" course in UFO's and abductions.

Oddly, the books suggest that it may not be as simple as aliens from another universe flying spaceships into ours... that there may be a sort of metaphysical plane existing in parallel to our own where these things exist. Figure that one out!

No, I've never had any experiences with UFO's or aliens, but I'm trying to keep an open mind. Apparently Elvis had a few close encounters, one in the mid-'50's and one in Bel Air 1965.

Amazing photo Sonny. What was the radio broadcast you speak of?

Well, it was on the news during that same period I spent my holiday in Austria.

They mentioned unidentied objects were sighted by several people. And I only heard this days after I took this particular picture.

So I had my fair share of wondering what the hell could be in that picture, know what I mean?

After that news message I thought: hey... could this perhaps, maybe be something like that... amazing stuff

Well I can't believe that we are the only inhabitants of a planet in all the vastness out there.

My husband and I thought we saw something one dark evening last year while standing out in our yard. We saw what we thought was the lights of a plane but travelling faster than a plane should and then it went backward and we said "whoa that's not right". Then it went forward again and disappeared. A satellite of some kind but they don't go backwards do they????
