I never have read any of Hopkins books but I do have the first one. Just never got to it. So do you highly reccomend it or it was just pretty good? Gimme a 1 to 10 scale 10 being the best.
Hi everyone! I just got this book in the mail and read it and I really like it. And, I was wondering if anyone else had read it and what you thought.
Jerry does a good job covering all the history about Elvis and his love for , performances and movies in Hawaii. There are some great pictures in there too that I Haven't seen . Hawaii sure is appreciative. Tons of accolades from there for Elvis.
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....

Considering it's just about one subject, It's pretty good. I'd give it about an 8 out of 10, or course that's in the whole "world of Elvis book" scheme of things. I'm gonna keep it though, I like it.

It sounds like a great book! Thanks, Menwithbrokenhearts!
I know Elvis loved Hawaii and vacationed there often, so it should be a good read.

It is. It also makes a great companion to my "Elvis' last vacation" photo book.Originally Posted by franny
I would like to have more books like this. I don't mind reading it all, nuts and bolts, of what really happened but all the negative stuff starts to get to me after a while and it's nice to read something like this. Thanks
