Thanks for sharing you're meeting with Joe and for posting the beautiful autographed photo!
Y'all remember when I posted that thread about Joe coming to my home town for a book signing? Well, it was today. They were having this car show and they had loads of antique cars. Some of them looked like they could be Elvis'. Anyway, underneath a white tent was Joe. My friend, her little cousin (Who's a HUGE Elvis fan!), her parents and I walked over there to meet him. He stood up and shook everyone's hands and started looking in our books of Elvis. My friend's little cousin showed him a picture of him and Elvis leaving a concert, he laughed at the way he looked in the picture. Then my friend's cousin asked him what was his best memory of Elvis and he said, "When I first met him and I looked into his eyes. I knew we were going to be friends... He had the greatest eyes." It almost teared us up. After that he signed our stuff. He was really nice. Well that's my story. Oh BTW here's my book that he autographed for me
