Yeah, I agree with Ron here that maybe a little variation on the dominant red might enhance your design even further.
Personally, I'd also have a go at lowering the opacity to different values on a few squares, that might give an interesting effect.
Of course, it's your cover, and you didn't ask for any suggestions
