Thread: Lean, Mean and Kickin' Butt

With FTD soon to present us with the majority of the 28th January 1971 Dinner Show several people have been offering alternate cover designs for that one.

Instead, for this cover I turned my attention to the Midnight Show from that same day - Baxter's Lean, Mean and Kickin' Butt.

Nicely presented though it was, it of course came in a longbox package - here is my jewel case size alternate covers.

The Vegas 71 FTD CD should be great. In my opinion they have put together an excellent package with both an unreleased show plus the rarer bonus tracks - can't wait for that one !

'What, honey ? ..... one scarf for the balcony ?! ........... OK ........... gimme a baseball ! ............ there's no way unless you put a rock in it'.

    Yahooooo

I'm a proud owner of the original Lean, Mean And Kicking Butt, but I don't "like" the large digipack. Well, I like it, but it doesn't fit between my other CD's. So I've made my own version some time ago, but this one is wayyyyyyyy better.

Looking forward to have this one

I just listened to this CD again ("Lean, Mean And Kickin' Butt") and I must say that "Teddy Bear" is one real mess. It's like they've never played that song before. The piano doesn't keep up with the tempo, Elvis sings in a weird key and is giving directions on how to play that song

I have attached "Teddy Bear" from this album, listen and have fun
