    I agree

How great Thou Art seems to be Elvis' favorite song. That is why he sang it in his shows. I also would say Why Me Lord? was another fav. that Elvis loved to hear

Another one of Elvis' favorite gospel songs is Sweet Sweet Spirit, which is a great song featured on EOT.
"How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977

"I, John" was another favorite of Elvis.

Just trying to think of some I have seen, heard or read about. I agree about "How Great Thou Art". I read that he really put his all into that song when he first recorded it, and most definately did until the end. You can see how it affects him when he sings it in EOT and EIC. Quite powerful.

I agree" I, John", and "Why Me Lord?" were two. Maybe " Blessed Jesus", "Farther Along" ,"I Shall Not be MOved","Help Me" and " Bosom of Abraham", "Lead Me , Guide Me", " Swing Down Sweet Chariot" and " Run ON".

Just some I remember reading or hearing about that he liked to sing offstage and at home. He sure did let the spirit move him when he sang these songs. You can hear it in his voice and see it on his face and in his movements. Some of the Stamps said that he would literally wear them out to all hours of the morning singing these songs. It would have been great to have been a fly on the wall during these jam sessions. Apparantley they wanted to film some of these sessions for the "68 comeback special" but the Colonel either wanted too much money for it or forbid it, can't remember which. It's a shame either way. Regardless, there is noone I would rather hear sing gospel than Elvis. I love gospel music and have alot of cds I listen to from other artists, but somehow I always end up with an Elvis one on. Can't help it, he sang them too darn good!
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....
