The lay-out is pretty basic, but good enough for a fresh look. The only thing i would change is the overall color, the original box-set is red, i think you should stay with that red color and not the yellow you used, and maybe the Elvis logo from the original boxset can be placed on the cover, cause that logo looks more modern than the fonts you used on your cover. But a good attempt for a cover, and a very good idea to put all those singles on 2 cd's.
I have both cd-single boxsets ( the UK & US versions and numbered versions) and i like the US version a bit more, due the fact that there is more in the box, a very nice booklet and a poster, and the sound is simply awesome on all singles, but the UK singles discs (the cd's) are better in artwork the vinyl grooves ect. are just a bit better than on the US version, but if you had to make a choice on wich of both sets to buy...my vote goes to the US one...for the audio quality alone.
The original box for the UK No1 hits is Black not red as was stated in an earlier post the US one is red I havebothe the UK CD;s and 10" sets
