All I can say is that I look at those pics of Priscilla and the idol contestants at Elvis' gravesite, which, remember, was part of some filmed footage, and to me, that is wrong. This is Elvis' gravesite. To me that's not something to be featured on a show, certainly not somewhere Priscilla should be featured as part of a show. I think it's in very bad taste, and extremely disrespectful. I know they were divorced and all, but that is still the grave of the father of her daughter, and visiting it should be a private, respectful thing, not something done in front of a TV camera.
All I know, is that if that were me, I couldn't do what she did.
The napping or sleeping part should stop at a certain age between parents and children of opposite sexes that I agree with, but laying down on a bed talking with the door open should not be suspect or viewed as something to worry about....if the said parties are emotionally healthy people.
I don't feel that the story that Priscilla divorced Elvis for the reason of his addiction around Lisa has any validity as Priscilla left him before his intake of pills was really serious and Lisa was there visiting during the worse of it.

well said jak, l forget she won the case against the book.
I think you are wrong jak. I think she took legal action against Currie Grant for the story he told about him and Priscilla making love before meeting Elvis not against the writer of the book.
Oops, forgot we had the same conversation in a thread you started months ago. If i?m not mistaken we posted inputs about the book and the trial between the too of them.
She couldn?t win against the writer because I bought the book last year and it?s sold legally everywhere.

Priscilla only sued Currie Grant and not Finstad S.
does it really matter who was right and who wasn't right?? This is the problem with the threads about priscilla is everything we say goes off the topic, so no wonder we had so many heated views and discussions. I can't really be bothered with that book and it contents, just like the other books out there l don't have time for them either.
I was talking about the book donut!!!
Hey Donut
I think you are right.I believe she won a judgement against Grant. That still casts a shadow on the book.I believe he was a central character in the book to illustrate how evil Priscilla was.If she did in fact win a libel suit why do people still believe it?Nobody sues somebody like that if they are in the wrong. It only stirs up more dirty laundry.
Jak
Hi jak.
I don?t think it pictured Priscilla as an evil at all. In my case I started to feel a little sorry for her after reading the book. That Currie story could be true or not but you know there were several stories told by lots of people in the book some by her school friends and some boyfriend that made the same statement as Currie Grant, that she slept with some of them. Why didn?t she sued all the rest if their stories were all made up? maybe because she knew they were true?
You know, I think the same rule we aply to Elvis when we discuss his life and "tell it like it is" or like we see it should be aplied to Priscilla too don?t take what she says like gospel because she like Elvis (in other matters) could and sometimes has been proved to lie for their own behalf and I don?t know what makes you think she isn?t capable of that. Maybe becasue she isn?t made of blood and bones and botox?
Now don?t stop calling Donut your guinea fowl![]()

How would her school friends know about her life with Elvis or what happened with Currie Grant...
There's so many different stories about what happened with Priscilla and Currie, but since Priscilla did win a judgement against Currie, how can one believe everything Currie says...
How can Priscilla go around suing everyone for everything they say, does anyone sue other's on Elvis' behalf, and we all know there's lots of false rumours being said bout Elvis...
franny
I'm sure that a lot of what has been said out there and in books are false rumors about both Elvis and Priscilla.....and Lisa as well.
Diane
They don?t say they know she slept with Currie Grant, one of them a boyfriend she had in Germany says he himself slept with her and some of Priscilla?s girlfriends from school said she was afraid Elvis found out.
Now I couldn?t care less if she did or not but if it?s true and I don?t find it so odd from a teenager nowadays or 50 years ago it would make her statement of being a virgin untill she married Elvis and her self created image of a innocent naive little girl perverted by him untrue.
Simple as that.

one day maybe the turth might came out,
I agree with you. I really don't care what she has done in her past, I just get tired of the almost constant portrayal of the "innocent" Priscilla being tainted and perverted by the "bad" ol' Elvis. Come one people.... I have a daughter, and I would NEVER have allowed her to go and do the things that Priscilla's parents allowed her to do at such a young age. I think that Pris had problems long before Elvis came into the picture. Not blaming her for that, just stating my opinion. I do, however, blame her for keeping his name. A name that she supposedly didn't want to carry at the time of the divorce, or shortly there after. I also find blame with her in the fact that she monopolize's on his "name" each and every time she can. Sure, I appreciate that she kept Graceland afloat. But I do not believe that it was done for the "fans". Priscilla herself stated that the fans "were annoying" to her. So would she bother herself that much to do something for us? Not likely...It was done to provide financial insurance for herself, and Lisa Marie. Do I blame her for that? Not if her motive was solely in Lisa's best interest...there is where the problem comes in, because I think she wanted to make sure that she was covered too!
presley31...I know that you like Pris, and I don't have a problem with that. We are all entitled to our opinion's. I try not to comment in an "ugly" way about anyone, such as name calling and the likes, so as NOT to insult my fellow Elvis fans who do happen to like her. However, I just don't like her. I don't hate her, I just don't like her. And that is just my opinion. Hope you are not offended....![]()
Daddy, I miss you more every day. You will always be my hero..
