I just saw on ElvisNews.com, that in June 2006 we will get a DVD release for Elvis The Concert...news was taken from Elvis Matters fanclub.
Now my question is: Is this gonna be a worldwide release? and is it a official release? cause i went directly to elvis.com to see if they had some news about this new DVD...nothing there. Not a word about a new DVD coming (very) soon.
I know that Ronnie Tutt saw some raw footage of this new dvd, and he was very surprised how good it looked on dvd....
I hope this is true...cause it's about time they release this concert on dvd, it's probably a few years too late..but for us fans finally a 'new' release, something to look forward too. Hope they will use DTS and Dolby sound this time, not only the dolby sound, the DTS sound is much better for music on DVD.

Yes, i saw this news on Elvis.com, a little strange that they put that great news on a sub-page of their site...
And it says set for release NEXT june, is that june 2007??? or just june 2006?
If it gonna released this june, we should have more information by now...like cover-art tracklist ect....
It's almost if EPE has nothing to do with this release...
for god sake, it's only 2,5 weeks before june...and 1 of the better releases of the last year, who could do very well in sales..
They hype the rubber ducks...wines...but nothing on this new dvd release...

What sickens me is that we came so close to getting a cd of the show complete with Elvis' voice w/ the new backing instrumentation, yet certain members of the group wanted too moch money.
I wonder who it was?
