You certainly can tell who is living off Elvis' name . From the looks of things, this movie is going to suck, did you guys see the dude they have playing Elvis no comparison there. I will for sure avoid seeing this .

    hi TCBinAZ,

I heard that David wasn't bothered about who played Elvis because he just wanted to tell his own story, that is understandable, but there was no need to cast someone who doesen't have the slightest resemblance to Elvis. I just watched the trailer and think it looks like a load of rubbish!

As usual we are getting the same old crap telling us how Elvis was a messed up man and how he messed up others too.
Why do all the people who were close to Elvis end up trying to damage his name?

I'll watch this film simply because of the connection, but it doesn't look very good.
Does anyone know when it's released?

I don't think I'll watch this one. I haven't like anything David has done so far, "Love you Tender" book being one And, according to many sources, David was partying and stoned too much to have remembered anything with a high degree of accuracy. Plus, it looks like we have, yet another film, focusing on the negative part of Elvis' life.
Hello!! There is so much more !!!!!
Will people ever stop finding ways to cash in on Elvis' demise?
    I'm pretty tired of it!!!
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....

That guy looks nothing like Elvis, and I'm pretty sure those sideburns are fake.

I'm pretty sure this will bomb at he box office. It looks very, very cheap. I mean, have you ever even heard of any of those actors?

I seriously doubt it gets much distrabution. Seriously Who the heck is David Stanley to the average person? Even most casual Elvis fans would have no ideal who he is. For fun I just asked ten people here at work if they ever heard of him , nobody had. Try it I doubt you'll get many and would be surprised if you get any that know, and if you do, odds are they are Elvis fans and they won't like him.

    Yeah, thanks for the link

But i agree with you guys, that an another person should have played Elvis instead!

What about the guy who played Elvis in the beginning of the 50's in "This is Elvis"?

    Do he looks like Elvis?

Anyway, i would love to have an actor to play in an Elvis film in the future

That's why he still keep singing a song

You're right about that! It does look like a load of rubbish!
Usually when someone wants to damage someone else's name it's because they want to make themselves look good! I think I read that it should be coming out later this Fall or early January...
