I'm wondering if anyone has recently listened to this version of "I Got A Woman" . ( From "Live In Las Vegas" Box Set ). To my ears its the most kick-*** version I've ever heard Elvis do!!!. Have another listen , and let me know if you agree.

I have that box set and I love that version too...but this is one of my favourites in live performance and I like it in every show...also the version with "Amen"...![]()
I agree, the version with "Amen" is great also.

agree the best version of the song. Evis semmed to be very tired of singing this song several hundreds of times in the seventies.
I like I Got A Women but Amen is a bit too much for me.

I have a new song had a new song don't have a new song the song is comming out by me
I agree, Elvis liked his shows to have the same routine, nothing wrong with that.
I would have liked it if he would have used the openings that he used on 8/19/74 with Big Boss Man and Proud Mary, that would have been great if he would have stuck with these instead of the usual CC Rider and I Got A Woman/Amen.
