You can really see in these types of things, the two different sects of the MM today. Lamar and Marty have the most problems . Supposedly Lamar took a lot of stuff, from people during the hey days, and IMO it shows. I don't care much for him, but I only go off what I get to see when these types of things surface, maybe he's the greatest guy in the world.
David Stanley - Honest??!!
Is Lamar talking about the same 'Headhunter' who has attended numerous Elvis shows and conventions in the past and with what he can't remember he makes up anyway??!!
I wonder if Lamar has been in attendance at one of these shows and heard the schpiel that this guy comes away with?

I agree. I don't really care for Lamar that much either. Marty I can stand but not really Lamar.Originally Posted by JDD

NEA - Maybe Lamar meant to say dishonest...it could have been a typo...I know I shouldn't judge someone I've never met...
Sonny - I was wondering why Jerry's name wasn't on there as well...
I guess he didn't make Lamar's two cent...I mean two word special list...![]()

There is also no mention of the late Richard Davis on his list. Plus, it would have been interesting to hear Lamar's two-word description of the 'twisted' Albert Goldman.
I know there was a lot of controversy surrounding his collaboration with Goldman on 'that' book back in the early 80's...don't know if Lamar has really spoken his true feelings about that one or how much he is covering up?...

Let the stars fade and fall, and I won't care at all, as long as I have you.

I wonder why he wasn't asked about others in EP's life like Jerry Schilling, Myrna Smith and Kathy Westmoreland? They all played a big part in EP's final years of his life. Actually more than the mafia did.
I wonder this also, I would love to see how they would describle Elvis with 1 or 2 words. I really like Kathy Westmoreland and Jerry Schilling, great people.Originally Posted by EP75

I like what he said about Ginger Alden....she is a total fake.![]()
Joan Deary: Didn't know her
Felton Jarvis: Ambitious good song man
By the way, who are these two...I don't know them...Does anyone know?
franny
Felton was Elvis' record producer throughout the years and was responsible for many Elvis albums such as "How Great Thou Art", "Elvis Country", etc. etc.
Joan Deary was an RCA Executive and was responsible for such album projects as the 25th Anniversary Silver Box Set in 1980. I think she was possibly the 'Ernst Jorgensen' of her day(?).
