Are you sure that red Moody Blue is one of the rare test pressings and not one of the Audiophile 180-gram pressings that came in a set with so many other LP's, all pressed on red vinyl? I know I've seen the Elvis In Concert 2-LP sold that way on eBay too. (Thanks to Jungleroom76 for straightening me out on that one.)

BTW Aron, you have indeed got a rare one on your hands there if you've got a Moody Blue from '76.

WOW!!!! That mono version of CLAMBAKE is quite rare....if the record and cover are in mint shape, with the bonus photo included AND the original sticker on the outer cellophane advertising the inclusion of the bonus photo, that LP is worth AT LEAST $300!!!

As for the MOODY BLUE on red vinyl, I've got to say that based on the look of the label for that album, I am GUESSING that what is being sold here is one of the rare test pressings from 1977. The label looks exactly like the one on the original blue vinyl pressings from 1977, with the title of the album in larger letters on the label above his name....unless when the red vinyl box set reissues came out a few years ago, they duplicated the labels from the original albums....anyone know the answer to this? I am guessing this is NOT the case, since the catalog number of the album here is the same as the original album AFL1-2428....again, unless the reissued red vinyl albums also duplicated the same catalog number, which I highly doubt. But as I said....if anyone has definitive information on these red vinyl reissues, I would be interested to know if they actually did duplicate the albums exactly, right down to the same label and catalog numbers. Of course, I am not an expert on Elvis vinyl...but based on my experience in buying albums for my collection, these are my thoughts on this one!

The autograph of Elvis on the Christmas album looks a bit fake to me....I am always SO weary of attempting to purchase an autograph from E-Bay....especially with all the fakes out there these days!

And, no problem on the EIC LP, Bobby!!

The Red viynl of the Moody Blue i think it is the rear test pressing
back in 1977!, and i have seen other that where re-done on red viyn!l,

but i think this one is the real deal!

And on the autograph Christmas album i am not much on stuff like this, but this is also on -e-bay as well....

go there time to time to get photos from these rare albums, wish i cant aford !!, but i hope someday i can! .

Curtis and Mike, it does appear to be one of the rare red pressings. Get it for a cool Buy It Now price (only option) of $1500, which is pretty reasonable if you can swing it. Just 10 minutes left--check your pocketbooks!

Oh, now you tell me! Only reason I didn't is, knowing the things I know, I just assumed you had at least 5 or 6 of them!

No problem. I won't make that mistake again...at least not once I've won the lottery.
