I have been wondering for quite sometime as to the roots of Way Down. Who's idea was it for Elvis to do this song and put it on Moody Blue. How many takes did it take for Elvis to get it right. How many out takes are known to exist. I have only heard 1. I have also heard the undubbed version. Was this the type of music Elvis was now aiming for?
