I tell you the words to that song always freaked me out after Elvis died and it was on the charts and radio as he died.
"All of my resistance lying on the floor, taking me to places I've never been before" It was kind of creepy to hear.
I have been wondering for quite sometime as to the roots of Way Down. Who's idea was it for Elvis to do this song and put it on Moody Blue. How many takes did it take for Elvis to get it right. How many out takes are known to exist. I have only heard 1. I have also heard the undubbed version. Was this the type of music Elvis was now aiming for?
