I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie when he came to England and he was a lovely man. I am very saddened by his death and all my best wishes go to his partner and family.
He is reunited with his friend Elvis. God bless him.

Saddness has fallen on the elvis world, i met you once in 1985, you where a great guy and friend to my hero, your memory will stay with those who had met you, sleep peaceful my charlie.

I just posted on the Memphis Mafia thread that I liked Joe and Charlie, and than I just read this..... thats just creepy....
He seemed like a very goodhearted, friendly guy, liked him because he was on stage with Elvis, making music with him.
