Brokeback Mountain, did anyone see it?

I haven't seen it yet, but I am curious what others who have seen it think of it, or why you won't go and see it.

I saw it!

It's a beautiful film... the shots of the mountain were amazing and the first half of the film was in particular stunning visually.

Heath and Jake produced great performances and it was a very moving film... I wept buckets!

I do recommend going to see it- it is a very simple, pure and beautiful film and very much unlike the usual type of love films that seem to be coming out at the moment.

I saw it in the cinema and it was packed. Everyone seemed to love it. I was next to my sister (who loves Jake Gyllenhael) and 2 gay men (who seemed to love Jake Gyllanhael) and so... well it was interesting!

I was quite dubious about it but really enjoyed it- it deserves to do well in the awards!

No, I haven't seen this one yet, though it's very interesting that a movie with a theme so controversial is being put into the spotlights! It goes to show that relationships between cowboys have been more than just superficial - and of course all the trouble in western society surrounding this subject.

According to my information the President of the USA was questioned if he had seen this movie, after which he replied 'no' and got red in the face.

Finally saw it today!!!

Great movie, very sad also. Heath Ledger did a great job as Ennis Del Mar!!!! Went to the movie more for Jake G., but ended up with great(er) admiration for Heath too!!! Very believable characters and chemistry!!!! WHOA!
