    Frank Sinatra

A show entitled Sinatra is soon to be running at the london palladium.
Comprising ultra-rare and never-before seen footage of Frank with a 24-piece live orchestra and a dazzling live company of dancers.
Using a similar concept to Elvis The Concert the stage technology lets Frank duet with live musicians on stage, and sing directly to the audience.
His image is projected on multiple moving screens and surfaces magnified to 20ft.
The show has the full support of the Sinatra family who have given the producers exclusive access to electrifying footage of Frank performing some of the greatest hits of all time.

I have seen that concept somewhere else , but the idea is still great. Frank Sinatra was the best selling performer after Elvis and to me he is the prototype of an entertainer. It seems like the show is done very well and I'd love to see it going on tour like they did with Elvis. If the Sinatra show comes to Germany, I would certainly buy a ticket. I guess in the future we'll see more shows of that kind.

I don`t know whether it will go anywhere after London (perhaps Broadway) but Elvis The Concert sold out arenas all over and this is just a theatre so our man still has the edge.
Talking of Sinatra what does anyone think of his and Elvis`s relationship?
Sinatras comments about Elvis in the 50`s and Rock N Roll music in general were not nice to say the least but I do believe that he came to like Elvis a great deal when he got to know him on his show in 1960.
It was in the papers a few years ago that he didn`t like him because he stole Juliet Prowse from him while he was making GI Blues. He was also said to be unhappy about his relationship with his daughter Nancy.
I personally don`t believe any of it as he saw Elvis on numerous occasions throughout the years.
Theres footage on This Is Elvis of him, Barbara Stanwick and Sinatra in 1966 and we know that he loaned Elvis his lear jet for his wedding.
Theres also photos of them in Las Vegas where I believe he had seen Elvis perform.
Elvis sung Franks song My way and I think Sinatra did a couple of Elvis`s songs.
Sinatra apparently contacted him when Elvis What Happened was coming out and offered to help.
I`m sure that Sinatra was at times a very difficult person and he didn`t always treat people with the respect that Elvis did but I think they were friends.
