It not Sattin but Satnin. This was part of the baby language between Elvis and his mother. He called his mother that way.
How did Elvis and Pricilla come up the the nickname Sattnin for each other?? And what does it mean?

thats what she meant she just cant type tonight.. lol anyway that never made sense.. if it was a thing between him adn his mother why did he use it with cilla?
I think he used it with Cilla' because she reminded him so much of his mother.

Across the plains of Tennessee

As far as I know elvis didn,t use this word for cilla. It was a nickname given to him in his childhood by his mother and it means:"smooth skin"
Elvis had got a very smooth and flawless skin!![]()
i think he actually did, cilla talked about it in 'elvis by the presleys. cilla had one of many nicknames like satnin as elvis had "fire eyes etc
"Whitout a song, the day would never end"
Satnin was an endearing term he and his mother used for each other.
It was baby talk for fattening, his mother was stocky and he would pat
her belly and say the word. It may not seem endearing to some, but it was to them.
