Fellow Fans, I've been knocking myself out trying to find a photo of Elvis, that I've only seen once. It's from the fifties, specifically around the time he was making "Jailhouse Rock" It's a candid of the King, kneeling before a young girl in a wheel chair, signing an autograph. Theres also a young lady standing in the background. I believe it had to do with his work for "The March of Dimes". Has anyone seen this photo? I'd appreciate any help.
Unbelivable, You hit it right on the money. the very first response to my query.
I'm not exaggerating, I've spent the last week looking at over 10,000 images of the King, trying to find this particular one.
I can't thank you enough.
You are truely a great fan.
Sincerely,
triff3![]()
I'm glad to have helped you......I thought it was the wrong photo because there were too many people and the newspaper!Yes, of course I'm a big fan and I have a very big gallery of the King but maybe it has been only LUCK 'cause I'm sure there are a lot of others good pictures I don't have. Bye

There's so much world to see
For me, there's so much world to see
Yeah! Yeah! Mmm!
- waiting to see Australia.
It's that little problem money first!
Hey,
Forever the King and Little Sister,
I'm very pleased to get these photos.
If you didn't know it. Elvis was a big fan of Wristwatches.
He owned many himself and he often gave ones he liked to friends and associates. there are specific watches he wore through out his career.
Like the one in these pictures, that he wore while he was making "Jailhouse Rock", Others include, the ones he wore while in the Army, "Blue Hawaii", "The 68' Comeback Special" and his Wedding to Pricilla.
I'm researching all these different time pieces to catalog his taste in this area.
As you know, his influence on fashion is still with us today.
I'm just fascinated by the fact of his enduring impact on american culture.
Thanks for helping

Here's another with watch!
I dream a world where man no other man
will scorn. Where LOVE will bless the earth
and peace its paths adorn...
u guys are incredible to be able to find THOSE specific pix.. I couldnt even begin to imagine how overwhelming triff felt searching
There's another one I don't think I've seen.
I've attached a photo of a watch that Elvis had made in the 70's.
It's a Tissot, 18K gold.
Elvis was very generous.
It was said that if you admired something he was wearing, there was a good chance he would just give it to you.
But I believe these were made to be given away by him.
You'll notice that it has his name is around the outside of the dial.
He didn't modify many watches like this, expect perhaps for personal engravings on the back of the cases.
But in another instance, when Bulova came out with the first LED watch, ( the ones that lit up in red numbers) He supposedly bought fifty of them and just passed them out.
If anybody can offer stories or more photos related to this interest of his, please feel
free to share.
