    This Is Elvis

From 1981, you can check out some pictures from This is Elvis which was filmed upstairs at Graceland. You can see Elvis and Lisa's bedrooms. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!! Just click here:SimplyCilla

I guess it will be the original movie in remastered color and more bonus material..

But i would be very happy if they could made new scenes from Elvis as a kid, it feels like you are there in the 40's- early 50's
Without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend - without a song.'

That's why he still keep singing a song

I'd like to see a spec edition dvd of this film, with some outtakes and remastered soundtrack!

The rumour i've heard is that they are doing away with the impersonators and having more of the real Elvis. And they will be using complete tecordings instead of highlights. Not sure if it's true or not but lets hope it is.

I sincerly hope that the new dvd release in 2007 has more footage of interest en has the same beautiful quality the Betamax version on video had when this film first came out. The quality of that video system is never been seen and that`s why i really hope we will get a perfect `THIS IS ELVIS ` dvd next year.
ELVIS IS KING AND YOU REMEMBER THAT !

I own this and I have also watched it many times on tv but it is spoiled everytime because they cut so much out. You really have to watch its entire version to appreciate just how magnificent it is.
The scenes where he is the young boy in Tupelo were excellent.
The beginning was excellent with the impersonator in the black and white tracksuit, fantastic. Particularly showing the upstairs of Graceland.
I didnt like the fake black and white scenes in germany and in the pool etc. They weren`t very realistic. They could have used the real Elvis at that point as there is enough Army footage and also swimming pool footage.
Apart from that its a wonderful film.
