It,s time again to celebrate, the day you were born
To thank your maker who endowed you, with the gift of song
We jump with glee as we recall, the joys you brought to us,
and marvel at the way you lived, without that fancy fuss.
You gave and gaveto pleasure, who reveled at your touch,
but then you went beyond the call, to help those needing much
we know you had compassion, that you loved your fellow man
and in return we loved you too... all your adoring fans.
and so to day, dear elvis, we raise a glass to you,
our hearts are filled with memories, and yes a tear or two
but mostly as the candles burn, to commemorate your day,
we profoundly thank your parents, for sending you our way.
