UNCLAIMED ELVIS REFUNDS SOUGHT IN SUIT
MEMPHIS-TENN. (AP) - attorneys for the Elvis Presley Estate have filed a lawsuit in Chancery Court claiming $168,000 in unclaimed ticket refunds for concert that never took place.
The lawsuit was filed againts the Mid-South Coliseum earlier this week by Priscilla Presley. Presley`s former wife, and other executors of the estate.
Presley was to have appeared at the coliseum Aug. 27-28, 1977. He died of a heart ailment Aug. 16.
E.E. Bland, the coliseum manager, said 11,000 tickets holders never claimed their refunds, which totaled $153,314. Bland said many of those who purchased tickets chose to keep them for souvenirs rather than claims a refund.
Bland said the money has drawn about $75,000 in interest in the five years since Presley`s death.

There was no end to her greed. I bet those tickets have fetched a bit more than that since then. I have one that I got for $50.00 on ebay, but you have to be very careful of the fake ones. My dad had tickets to that concert and got the refund. I was so mad at him then. He wishes he hadn't done it now. Great story!
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....
