Proud Mary
"How do I get placed in situations like this? Ah hell, I guess it's all part of showbusiness "~ Elvis in his limo on his way to perform in Omaha, NE on June 19th 1977
Its Got To Be Proudy Mary At Madison Square Gardens
Definately Proud Mary, although Burning Love is probably a close second in my mind. Having seen Elvis do "I Got a Woman" and "Proud Mary" is different concerts, Proud Mary gets my vote. It really had the audience at a high level!

I think Burning Love was a perfect #2 song in the lineup, because it seamed to flow in to smoothly after the opening.
Of course I do think Big Boss Man might have sounded cool in the #2 spot too![]()
