here is part 3...april 1973 ``back in time``
Madison Square Garden announced this week that the all-time highest grossing in the history of the Garden was Elvis Presley, who in June, 1972, drew 80,000 to four shows in three days for a total of $730,000.00. the top five for 1972 at MSG were;
ELVIS PRESLEY $730,000.00
ROLLING STONES $520,000.00
JOHN LENNON $379,000.00
MOODY BLUE $264,000.00
TOGETHER FOR MOGOVERN $ 250,000.00
Other figures that make Elvis` take so great are those of other so-called ``giants`` that couldn`t even fill the arena for one show. For example;
GRANK FUNK RAILROAD $117,000.00 (18,000)
TOM JONES $134,000.00 (15,000)
OSMOND BROTHERS $98,000.00 (14,000)
Also, the biggest show at MSG for 1971 was the George Harrison concert for Bangladesh, with a take of $250,000.00. Elvis tops everyone. In fact, the total take for MSG rock concerts in 1972 was 4.5 million. This means Elvis comprised almost 25% of the yearly total take in three days !

``ALWAYS ON MY MIND`` is up to no. 8 in England, and no. 2 in Hong Kong. But the big news is the ``ALOHA FROM HAWAII`` LP.
