    las vegas hilton

Has anyone ever been to the hilton either back when Elvis performed there or more recently?
Has it changed a great deal since Elvis performed there?
Apparently there will be reconstruction work done at the hotel next year.
Does anyone have any new photos of the showroom?
Do they still have the tables like in TTWII?

I've been there a bunch of times in the last year. For a couple of years they had a guy named Trent Carlini doing a tribute in the same room where Elvis played. He's gone and Barry Manilow is there.

The showroom is completely different and you wouldn't recognize it from TWIW. The hotel has a large Star Trek theme tht certinly wasn't there.

The casino looks the same with dated chandeliers tht look cool. There's an understate statue in the main lobby with a plaque with a nice tribute to Elvis as soon as you wlk in.

Part of the orginal sign is out front but most of it is different.

This summer I was there and was toying with idea for a book and I spent some time talking to employees who worked there doing Elvis's era. No One had anything but reverence for him
