I've been there a bunch of times in the last year. For a couple of years they had a guy named Trent Carlini doing a tribute in the same room where Elvis played. He's gone and Barry Manilow is there.
The showroom is completely different and you wouldn't recognize it from TWIW. The hotel has a large Star Trek theme tht certinly wasn't there.
The casino looks the same with dated chandeliers tht look cool. There's an understate statue in the main lobby with a plaque with a nice tribute to Elvis as soon as you wlk in.
Part of the orginal sign is out front but most of it is different.
This summer I was there and was toying with idea for a book and I spent some time talking to employees who worked there doing Elvis's era. No One had anything but reverence for him
