    Taking Care Of Bluesness

This is THE blues album that should have been, early in the 70?s (for example, during 1971 winter). It might have been a winner... or not : LET ME KNOW, FRIENDS!

    Jeanno,

This is absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!! How do you get the photos to look like they do, that's a very cool technique.

    Thanks!

i would'nt consider 'patch it up' as blues, thats more rock to me

funny how time slips away and i washed my hands were both on the Elvis country album, so they can't contend for blues

but a very different design concept, and it is quite impressive

Thanks to you all for the kind words. I?m proud of that design and very happy you like it too!

    downunder
PATCH IT UP is almost constructed like a blues (at least the verses). I would define it as a SOUL / BLUES track... although it really rocks. I WASHED MY HANDS is rock?n?roll and, because of that, it is equally close to both COUNTRY and BLUES. FUNNY is obviously the least bluesy number - it is an all-times COUNTRY classic - but there?s someting in the way it was performed that gives him some BLUES feeling. Maybe Burton?s guitar solo : this is pure BLUES!
