Is somebody here interested in Bullfighting (tauromachy)?

I'm not very much into Bullfighting, but I'd like to know if you like it. I've went to see this show a couple of times (joyning a friend of mine) and it seems to be a cruel activity. But, for an extrange reason, it is also exciting... And well, it's cool for a girl to see those handsome bullfighers.

I remember the Elsa C?rdenas role in "Fun In Acapulco". She played a bullfighter, right? By the way, I like the songs related to tauromachy topic in that movie.

Yes, bullfighting is "important" in several places... I guess it is even more known in Spain.
The biggest plaza of all (in the world) is the "Plaza México" and, obviously, is in me country. ROR knows what I'm talking about.
I'm not really into bullfighting (as said before). I'm into bullfighters. Has somebody heard about Enrique Ponce? Wow, he's gorgeous.

Its disgusting, killing an animal for amusement??? But so is the meatindustry! And me is a hypocrite because I eat meat and stuff, just wish that animals had a bit of a decent life before they become burgers and steaks...

At least a bull gets a chance (?) to show some power, but gets killed anyway..... I am never really upset (read: I don't give a sh*t) though when a bullfighter gets wounded.... is that bad?

it's animal cruelty, and i don't like animal cruelty. i know it's a tradition some places, but i really don't understand why the bull has to suffer, or why they have to kill it. and i don't understand how someone can find it exciting
it makes me sick

I also think that bullfighting is cruel. It's just like making war; it is not necessary to kill.

But there are people who think it's sick that I like Billy Gilman - and they support making war and killing animals though.

I've discovered a kind of bullfighting where the bull is not killed (!) That's so good. The name of that is "Tauromaquia de Goya" (spanish) and it's pure acrobatics only. So exciting.

No, the bull is fine... Maybe the "recortadores" (bullfighters) get wounded. You know, it's still a very dangerous activity. Exciting as well.
