i have recently become a HUGE ELVIS FAN!! and i have bought cd's, dvd's etc, i was wondering, i want to start a collection, is there anything that i should get? can u guys give me some suggestions?

The FTD collection would be the ulitmate start if you ask me.
And of course the various boxsets that have been released over the last couple of years: Elvis Aron Presley, A Golden Celebration, Today Tomorrow And Forever, Close Up, Live In Las Vegas and A Life In Music.
The last one i.m.o is the best one to start with if you would decide to purchase any of these boxsets.

a good place to start would be to purchase the 3 box sets 50's, 60's, & 70's
if you can afford them all at once

the first elvis dvd i got and incidentally was also the first time i had ever seen elvis singing live was "Elvis: That's the Way it is". i think this is the best place to start with elvis cos he looks AMAZING and is loving what he's doing.... it's simply an amazing dvd which also including the rehearsals, that show us what elvis' character as well (there's a hilarious bit where he falls off his chair!!)
