    Thank you VERY much Tommy!
I'm very proud on this cover, took a long time to create it, but the result is - in my opinion- very good.
Hope you can use this cover and have lots of fun with it!

Fantastic Cover... it truly brings Elvis back to life.. Makes me want to go out and get it... Dovey

Thx Unchained and Dovey! glad you both like it. I made a few changes to this final design and left the dots on it cause i liked those dots a lot and it fills out the name Elv1s.
And on the extra inside is a little more info on the tracks..from wich album they came from, so it's a little easier for the people to create this cd.

This looks very cool, and very funky!! I like the freshness of the cover, it comes of as very modern, and that is difficult to pull off without training. I would change a couple of things though. One thing is the text on the inside, I would move it a little bit to the right, so further away from the margin. Also I would definitly change the 50's picture as there is not one track on the CD from the 50's, it's a great picture, but to me it doesn't suit this disc...

Anyway, great design and a nice tracklist!!

Thx, Little Sister!!! Glad you liked this cover. The idea for this cover was indeed to be a modern looking cover, wich could easily be placed on the shelves next to the number one hits CD. And i think i did just that. And for that 50's pic., it's just an amazing picture, wich had to be included on this cover. I play this cd a lot at home..it's just a very funky and cool cd. Only wish that BMG/SONY saw the light some day...and will release these kind of albums and stop releasing that greatest hit stuff! Or just re-release the complete elvis in the 90's series in the new dsd sound, in that way we have all the classic albums back in the catalogue and the main stream public finally will have the original albums in the best sound possible....will they ever learn?
Why must they always re-relaease the things that were succesfull in the past? Like the 18 number 1 hits cd-single boxset... or the number 1 hits + 2nd to none...wich was called elvis forever...than less than 6 months later we got Hitstory with....yes...30 number one hits, second to none and a crappy new cd: the story continues. So we have these albums 3 times....

I just wanted to reply 1 more time...to get this design seen by more people than it has now, we have a lot of new members since this cover was posted that's why i'm bringin' this cover back to life for 1 more time. A funny story is that on the 30 #1 hits board someone posted this cover as a new release by BMG/SONY a while ago, wich made me a little proud ..on what i've created with this cover, hope you all like this cover also...

I've never seen this one.....must have slipped by me

It looks fantastic...I dig that photo used on the back
I do think the 68 photo on the inside-front should be a bit brighter, but it's still a mighty sharp design.....

    Well done

Without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend - without a song.'

That's why he still keep singing a song

Yeah, nice layout you put together on this one Patrick. I particularly like the inside fold out part.

Thx guys for all the (new) replies on this cover.
And yes Ron i also consider this cover as my best so far. The title and most of the tracks came from a thread here on tcb or FECC, and i created my own version from that.
I think most of the songs have that funk in it, i believe rockin' rebel started that thread over (t)here, he has also a very nice site, with lots of info and alternate covers.
And i also burned this cd, and the flow and so on sounds great. i think you should create this cd one day...and listen to it.
