Is this any better than Nevada Nights, and should I get it if I already have Nevada Nights?

I also own Nevada Nights and think that this is a great addition all in itself. The performances of "The Wonder of You" and the rare "Spanish Eyes", not to mention the great commentary about painting the decor in the showroom and stay free pads, are truely worth the price!

One Question is why two concerts were compiled instead of using a complete concert from that tour? The overall sound is ok for a mono soundboard and slightly better than a good audience recording. The tracklist reflects the more contemporary choices Elvis made during that period, although From Paradise Road To Sunset Boulevard is even better for this concern.
The artwork on the front is cool using a logo which was first developed for the Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 release from RCA at the end of the seventies. In my opinion the picture can be considered as a tribute to so many "Karate Speeches" Elvis held in '74. The inside is not too good but ok.
All in all it is a release worth being bought and nice to hear.
I will guess that it's because the tape ran out & they decided to fill in with another Vegas Show. I read this happened on one of the FTD's but i don't recall which one.
I just got my copy and I really enjoy it. Elvis isn't consistent, but - wow! - Spanish Eyes is spectacular. He is spot on! Softly As I Leave You - his harmonizing with Sherrill at the ending of the song is another moment that gave me goosebumps, and of course, I'm a big fan of his "ranting". He's funny in this show!

Just pretend, I'm holding you, and whispering things soft and low.
And think of me, how it's gonna be and just pretend I didn't go
