Highly entertaining CD! I believe "The Human Side of Elvis" or something to that effect is the subtitle of this CD, and it definitely showcases that. If you haven't heard some of Elvis' off-color performances before, the material on this CD may come as a surprise.
...you won't forget me when I go.

On www.jordans-elvis-world.com , under the Elvis Library section you can find the album. It's really funny.

I have this cd and bought it on ebay and it is really funny and shows Elvis' always funny and sometimes irreverant humour but I have to say that I don't care much for the x-rated "Hurt" version. It sounds like he's drugged up and not quite himself. Like I would imagine he sounded many times after he had that bout of drug overuse and depression after finding out about Mike Stone. Other than that, I think it's worth buying. Some of it is absolutely hilarious!
Got my family, my kids, my books and my music, I'm good, yeah, I'm good.....

    Post Hurt X-rated version

    Elvis voice sounds so strange.
What kind of drugs makes your voice sound like that.

If I'm not mistaken, I think a number of barbituates can make you sound like that.

I'd never heard of that cd nor that Elvis had an off-colour concert. I'd heard that he said things off and on but not for an entire concert. I would certainly say that the drugs were talking.......

I love that robin poem until the last sentence...........I've only been able to laugh at it once the first time I read it because the ending caught me by surprise but now as an animal and bird lover it upsets me......

    Re:

Is it just me. But if you really really listen to it. I maybe wrong I'm only 22 years old. But when he does cussing...doesn't even sound like him. Yea, I have boot's of him cussing, but I think that isn't really Elvis in X-rated Hurt. That's just me.
