I believe this is the infamous 69 version which means no footage, if I'm not mistaken.

are you lonesome tonight - laughing version .-

yes joe is right in evry way . this version came out on a single many years ago - i think it was 1980s. there is no footage of this from Vegas 69-

i have this single in my collection and no footage - but lets hope and pray that this comes out as footage - not in the distant future - this will surely be a classic for us elvis fans -

just wait and see- what develops on this footage -
hope they re-r elease this agin as part of a full show on cd too soon -

If you are talking about the 69' version then I dont have a clue. But there is the version from the CBS special, dont know if that'd help you out or not.

If were talking about the 69 version where Elvis laughs and yells "Sing it Baby"
at the high voice singing and ends it with "14 years down the drain man"
I believe the audio version was on the 8 record set Elvis Aron Presley released in 1980 or 81. As far as I know there is no video of this.
The 77 version from EIC is a different one where he mumbles and says"Plus tax" somewhere in it.

The 77 version is nothing really like the 69 version....Elvis just forgets the words in '77, but tries to make it better, but the 69 version is hysterical because Elvis just can't stop laughing....I doubt there is any 'official' fottage out there for this...but who knows.....

When you purchase the FTD release ALL SHOOK UP, you'll hear this song in his full context; a very relaxed show on 08-26-1969, Midnight Show!

Since I listened to this show, I understand much more why he's so 'loose'!!

    laughing!

Elvis used to fool around with this song more often. It's very funny indeed!

    Question

Gertepet, where do you purchase the FTD release of All Shook Up? I have noticed quite a bit in this site that they refer to FTD releases, I am fairly new here and have never heard of them. I am from Pennsylvania and it is new to me.

    Thank you in advance, Dovey

    Hello Dovey,

FTD's are "Follow That Dream" label, can be purchased though www.Elvis.com web site. That's where I get mine from.

There is a video clip from the TTWII - outakes that has El singing " do you gaze at your bald head " and contunues to sing the song straight:just a hint of a laugh -it was available some time ago on the Elvis world Japan site...

I am not sure but maybe you can find it on Steve Ms "elvis crawler" site:
