i was just thinking, we think we know a lot about the king,but can you remember when you found out different things about elvis that surprised you.
i remember years ago watching GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS,when elvis is singing return to sender, and asking myself who is elvis looking at during this song,he seems to be looking at someone offstage and he is laughing.

quite a few years later, i discovered that before this scene,elvis had told his friends that he was going to do an impression of JACKIE WILSON when he was doing the scene,and was laughing at his friends while he was doing the song, doing all JACKIES MOVEMENTS.look at this film again,and see if you notice.
p.s. this site just gets better and better,keep up the good work

Well, I think that's wonderful. I never knew!

I did know, though, that Elvis liked Jackie Wilson a lot - he (Jackie) was one of Elvis' inspirations when EP started out in the business and he remained to be so, I guess!
