Elvis cbs mini- series

What are peoples opinions on this?
Living in England I have just managed to see it and its o.k. although I didn`t like how they played out Elvis`s relationship with his father. Everytime he walked into a room he ignored his father and I don`t believe he spoke to him in the manner that they portrayed. I also think they over dramatized his relationship with his mother and made him out to be a complete mammas boy. Him and his mother were obviously very close and she was a very special lady but they went over the top.
The actress who played Priscilla was absolute crap but Jonathan Rhys Meyers in my opinion did a very good job of something that was virtually impossible. He was a little bit dodgy on the miming but he tried his best.
I would have like to have seen it go further than the 68 special though.

I haven't seen this serie... Has not been aired in M?xico yet. But I heard, while ago, that the show is a bad one and that "the only good thing is the acting of Rose M. playing Ann-Margret, and Jonathan's effort to play the king nicely".
I loved the 90s tv-serie called Elvis... just my favorite because of Michael Gerard. And, actually, no other tv-serie about our man has been broadcasted in my country, only the one I mentioned before.

i think jonathan rhys meyers was incredible, well i mean like he did an excellent job playing the king. his voice, the moves, it was all great. this series had its flaws but i thought it was really good.
