Elvis made sure flowers were sent to every opening she ever had in Vegas. I think it was great that they had a friendly relationship after their affair.
In Ann-Margaret's autobiography, My Story, she circumspectly describes what is obviously a strong connection between her an Elvis; clearly, they were more than merely friends. She and husband Roger Smith attended Elvis' funeral and spent time at Graceland with the family. And there should be no doubt about the affair or its intensity; Linda Thompson, Elvis' last great love, has said, "I know that Elvis loved Ann-Margaret...he used to talk about how he would have married her but circumstances just kind of convoluted." The circumstances? In all likelihood, Ann-Margaret's insistence on maintaining her career.

Yes, I knew Elvis sent her flowers. I seen her in interviews and she would never bring up anything about Elvis.
Thank you for the reply,

I love Ann-Margret!!!!!!! She has been my favorite lady (just after Marilyn Monroe) since I can remember. Chemistry between her an Elvis is pretty obvious in the Viva Las Vegas film. I read some reviews and most of them say that "they made the screen burn". Well, that's another story....

I guess (also read something about it) "the king" didn't marry Ann-Margret because he was already involved with Priscilla. Ann would have been a better wife for Elvis... Although Linda was an excellent option too.![]()
Ann is married with a man that loves her so much. That's a happy thing too, right? And, after all, we have that great scene of Elvis and Ann-Margret gettin' marry in the great VLV movie, so...![]()

I always found it ironic that Ann married Roger Smith about a week after Elvis married Priscilla.
Yes, I had forgotten about that. Thank you for this part.

Thanks Tommy. And KPM I didn't know about the fact you talking about.Originally Posted by Tommy
I'm surprised. I guess Ann-Margret (as read on a magazine) "didn't forget Elvis". Is a curious fact, but let's think she and her husband are truly happy together (besides the circumstances of their marriage
). Thanks for that info'

Hi Wendy,
Yes, I think Ann-Margret is happy. But she never forgot Elvis and he never forgot her.
